With spring returning and all things thriving, it is the perfect season for reading. On April 7, a reading and publicity event themed Literate Grassland · Virtue Nurtures Every Family was launched at Shengli Energy. Hosted by the Women’s Federation of Xilingol League and organized by the Labor Union of Shengli Energy, the event centered on thinking enhancement and cultural reflection, actively exploring a new model of local-enterprise cooperation and nationwide reading, thereby adding a strong scholarly atmosphere to the spring grassland.
During the event, Li Xing, a lecturer from the Chinese Psychological Society, adopted a combined approach of “guided learning + interaction + sharing” to provide an in-depth interpretation of Ascending Dimension, a book written by Professor Wang Luo from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He linked practical topics including thinking uncertainty in the Internet era, wide application of artificial intelligence and information asymmetry, and guided the audience to progress step by step from mindset shaping, thinking breakthrough to cognitive upgrading. Li Xing noted that reading serves as an important channel for cognitive dimension ascending, and encouraged employees to read more, read wisely and read good books, so as to broaden their development paths through changes in thinking.
Afterwards, Yao Xiaojuan, a March 8th Red-Banner Pacesetter of the league and Director of the Case Management Office of the Xilingol League Procuratorate Branch, delivered a touching and thought-provoking speech on the protection of women’s rights and interests as well as care for children’s physical and mental health. Drawing on real cases and her personal experience in youth protection work, she elaborated on the definition of rights and interests of women and children as well as relevant channels for rights protection. She also popularized corresponding laws and regulations, guiding the audience to strengthen legal awareness and safeguard their legitimate rights and interests through legal means.
Scholarly aroma nourishes the mind, and the rule of law provides protection. This reading and publicity event precisely met the spiritual and cultural needs of different groups, featuring both ideological collisions and warm emotional transmission. It not only enhanced the cognitive thinking and legal literacy of employees and the public, but also strengthened the local-enterprise cooperative relationship.
