As autumn deepens and students embark on their new journeys, Zhunneng Group’s “Golden Autumn Educational Aid” project recently launched as scheduled, adding a warm glow to the back-to-school season and delivering solid support to employees’ families in need.
Hao Quanwang, a plumber in the water heating team of the Production Service Center, was deeply moved: this autumn, his second daughter was admitted to Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics, becoming a new beneficiary of the program. This marked the second time his family received support—in 2022, when his eldest daughter entered Inner Mongolia University of Technology, the Group had already launched a four-year support initiative for his family according to the educational aid policy.
For Hao Quanwang’s family, this support carries profound significance. Burdened by loan repayments, with his wife having no stable job and an elderly mother over 80 to support, the family was once stressed for the educational expenses of their three children. “I used to worry constantly that tuition and living costs would affect the children’s studies. Now, with the Group’s help, our financial pressure has truly eased. The kids can focus on their education without distractions from family difficulties.” He shared with sincere gratitude, “The ‘Golden Autumn Educational Aid’ project has not only helped us through immediate challenges but also given our family tremendous spiritual encouragement. I hope this project continues to support more families like ours and helps more young people achieve their dreams of higher education.”
Recent visits and surveys revealed that the Group has provided support to 27 employees’ families in need, covering three major categories including emergency assistance, medical aid, and educational support. Among them, 10 families received dedicated support for their children’s education. Since 2004, the Group has consistently conducted the “Golden Autumn Educational Aid” project for 21 consecutive years, offering assistance to employees’ children in need 306 times.
For years, the Group’s labor union has adhered to an employee-centered working orientation, implementing a personalized assistance model (literally “one file for one person, one policy for one person”) to regularly visit employees, understand their needs, and provide differentiated support. Guided by the principle of “Warm Union Service is Around”, the Group has built a comprehensive employee care system, ranging from holiday sympathy and financial aid to health care and spiritual support—effectively addressing employees’ difficulties.
As a key component of its support initiative for employees in need, the “Golden Autumn Educational Aid” project consistently focuses on the education of employees’ children, fulfilling the commitment to sharing developmental achievements with employees. Moving forward, the Group will further deepen its “Practical Activities for Serving the People” activities and improve support mechanisms, helping more employees overcome difficulties, and ensuring everyone feels the warmth of the Group.
