Since the beginning of 2024, Baoshen Railway Group has tapped into the transportation potential, and explored the new mode of 10,000-tonne train marshaling with notable achievements: The Zhuanlongwan station completed the 10,000-tonne test for the first SS4B-type locomotive “1+1” C70E heavy-haul combined train; the Shigetai Station completed the 10,000-tonne test for the first electric locomotive of “1+1” heavy-haul combined train with wireless reconnection devices; the Bu’ertai Station fulfilled the 10,000-tonne test for combined trains between the station and dedicated line; the Bulianta Station achieved the best results of marshaling eight sets of 10,000-tonne trains, and disassembling 100 wagons into six sets of 10,000-tonne trains for a single day, further releasing the train capacity of the south line. The Group kept close connections with customers to grasp the demand for shipment, continued to direct traffic online, timely adjusted shipping fees in line with changes in the coal market, reduced logistics costs, and increased its long-distance freight volume. Baoshen Railway Group fulfills its social responsibility to ensure stable energy supplies by firmly guarding the bottom line of ensuring people’s well-being and securing stable power generation and heat supply.
