Recently, after learning that Jiaojieyingzi Village in Wanshuiquan Town, Baotou City, was suffering from a lack of cold storage, which had led to the spoilage of large quantities of high-quality fruits and vegetables and affected sales, Baoshen Railway promptly stepped in to offer assistance by organizing a team to help establish a 2,000-square-meter cold storage warehouse, demonstrating its commitment to rural revitalization.
A professional team from Baoshen Railway conducted a field trip of the village, gathering detailed information on the types of fruits and vegetables, yields, sales channels, and existing storage facilities. Following thorough planning and preparation, they initiated the construction of a comprehensive cold storage warehouse equipped with refrigeration, preservation, and constant temperature functions. Featuring advanced cooling equipment and temperature and humidity monitoring systems, the facility ensures that vegetables and fruits are stored in optimal conditions, extending the shelf life and reducing losses. The villagers were relieved to note that they could now expand their planting and introduce more high-quality varieties without fear of spoilage. The cold storage warehouse also attracts fruit and vegetable dealers from neighboring areas, which help broaden sales channels and boost farmers’ incomes.
This initiative addressed the urgent storage need of Jiaojieyingzi Village, and injected robust momentum into rural revitalization.
