On June 25, the “Boundless Journey” volunteer service team from the Railway Equipment Company Baotou Branch conducted “Protect the Mother River Together with Me” volunteer activity along the Yellow River stretch of National Highway 210 (G210) in Baotou. This initiative aims to enhance employees’ awareness of environmental resource protection, and promote ecological civilization and green development, demonstrating the commitment to protecting the Mother River through practical actions.
During the activity, volunteers in red vests and hats cooperated with each other. They picked up cigarette butts, paper scraps, packaging bags, and instant noodle containers along the riverbank with shovels, tongs, garbage bags, and other cleaning tools. Every corner was double-checked to ensure that no trash was left on the field. Their diligent efforts exemplified their dedication to protecting the Mother River and embodied the spirit of volunteer service. In addition, the volunteers popularized the knowledge of river protection and the construction of a zero-waste city to the passersby. They promoted the concepts of reduction, recycling, and harmless disposal of solid waste, encouraging the public to practice garbage sorting and develop a green and civilized mindset, thereby raising awareness of river protection.

Their volunteer efforts align with the ecological philosophy of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets”, showcasing their responsibility and commitment to safeguarding and cherishing the river.
