On May 22, Shengli Energy's open-pit mine organized volunteers to visit Yililete Village and conduct a volunteer service activity titled "Building a Strong Grassland Fire Barrier to Protect the Lucid Waters and Lush Mountains of Pastoral Areas", aiming to safeguard grassland fire safety and reinforce the "firewall" in the pastoral community with practical actions.

During the event, the volunteers engaged deeply with the residents of Yililete Village. They visited pastoral households and had chit-chats with them to extensively introduce knowledge of grassland fire prevention. To address the lack of fire prevention awareness among the herdsmen, volunteers taught them about essential fire safety practices and precautions related to electricity, fire, and gas usage in daily life. The volunteers emphasized the prohibition of outdoor open flames, smoking, and littering cigarette butts during the grassland fire prevention period. In response to the herdsmen's requests, the volunteers demonstrated the standardized disposal process of burnt cow manure on site. They also identified and eliminated various fire safety hazards, taking proactive measures to prevent household fire accidents.

According to Huhe, herdsman of the village, "We have gained a deeper understanding of fire prevention knowledge through your demonstrations. Grassland fire prevention is a shared responsibility for all, and we will be committed to practicing grassland fire safety."

During this event, 105 grassland fire prevention brochures were distributed, and 7 sets of spark arrestors for vehicles were installed for free. The volunteer activity extended fire safety awareness directly to herdsman households, further enhancing the fire safety consciousness among the pastoral community and reinforcing the "safety firewall" in the pastoral areas.
