Since November 3, following the call of the government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Coal Management Company Baotou branch has spared no effort to ensure coal supply for heating. It has signed contracts to supply 130,166 tonnes of coal for farmers and herders in Ordos, Baotou and nearby areas, meeting the urgent demands of local people.
With the drop in temperature, local farmers and herders are in urgent need for coal for heating. To guarantee coal supply to local people, the company actively implements the policy of China Energy to supply coal to local farmers and herders through careful planning and fast actions, ensuring they enjoy a warm winter. The company strives to coordinate energy supply and epidemic control. On the one hand, it mobilizes its Baotou energy company and Shenshan open-pit coal mine and streamlines the coal supply workflow to achieve precise, standardized, and integrated management of the entire process ranging from prepayment, shipment documentation, delivery procedures to settlement and refunding, ensuring smooth and stable operation; on the other hand, it actively signs coal sale contracts with heating supply enterprises and local township governments to fully accomplish the tasks to supply coal to local farmers and herders, so as to ensure it completes the supply of 130,166 tonnes of coal within this year as scheduled.
All of this indicates the company’s care for people’s livelihood. Through guaranteeing coal supply, the company meets the urgent needs of local farmers and herders and ensure they enjoy a warm winter. This demonstrates its commitment to social responsibilities as a centrally administered state-owned enterprise.
