Chen Yu, a 29-year-old employee from Gandian Company of Zhunneng Group, had his hemopoietic stem cell successfully drawn in the Inner Mongolia International Mongolian Hospital to save a five-year-old child. Since December 2013, Chen has donated 3,600 ml of blood in total on nine occasions. In April this year, China’s bone-marrow bank found that his blood sample matched with a five-year-old leukemia patient, so he decided to donate stem cells for the child.
