On January 11, Zhungeer Energy held a launch ceremony?for the industrialized application of nanometer hydrocarbon fuel preparation project by igniting the supporting circulating fluidized bed boiler. It marked that the project entered a test running stage from an experiment stage. Conducive to forming a complete industrial chain for circular economy, the project provides a technical solution to flexible remolding of coal-fired power units, as well as a Zhungeer Energy approach to achieving the national goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.
The project remolded Zhungeer Energy Gandian Branch’s first-phase circulating fluidized bed units with a capacity of 2×150 MW. It is a key move to solve two major problems of materializing plans for aluminum oxide demonstration projects and disposing the assets of power generation units. In the meantime, the technology of nanometer hydrocarbon fuel preparation substantially reduces coal consumption and pollutant discharge and complies with the national policy of remolding coal-fired power units in a flexible manner.
The project was completed after more than 330 days of hard work. It has been seamlessly connected with its supporting circulating fluidized bed boiler. So far, the transformation of boilers, building of workshop for nanometer hydrocarbon fuel preparation and installation of furnace feeding system have been finished. All systems have been debugged and are about to enter a 72-hour test run.
