Recently, China's first independently developed fast self-opening bolter miner was delivered to Laoshidan Coal Mine, Wuhai Energy. It finished assembly and commissioning and was put into formal operation, bringing prominent enhancement to tunneling efficiency.
The 16403-1 haulage roadway of Laoshidan Coal Mine serves as the core tunnel for the first filling mining project in the mine with complicated geological conditions and construction difficulty. Frequent roadway opening, roadway connection and equipment relocation brought multiple construction difficulties. The mine introduced this first domestic fast self-opening bolter miner to support filling mining procedures. It adopts the efficient parallel operation mode integrating tunneling, support and filling, addressing practical construction challenges and guaranteeing safe operation and sound construction quality.
Equipped with a rotary cutting system, this bolter miner realizes one-shot roadway formation and fulfills both roadway opening and excavation tasks. Compared with conventional bolter miners, this equipment cuts roadway opening size by 30% and shortens opening construction time by 20%. It significantly lowers difficulties in subsequent filling work and enhances construction efficiency. The equipment enables synchronous tunneling and supporting operations, shortening time spent on working procedure conversion and lifting tunneling efficiency by more than 50%.
