As of February 27, Huanghua Port has cumulatively completed the shipment of coal exceeding three billion tonnes, injecting strong momentum into China’s energy strategic demands and serving high-quality economic development of the country.

As the largest coal shipment port in China, Huanghua Port has established a transportation system following the principle of “improving efficiency through collaboration, ensuring stable supply through high efficiency” by leveraging China Shenhua’s integrated advantages, with more than 200 million tonnes in cargo throughput for eight consecutive years and ranking first in coal shipment among all coal ports in China for six consecutive years. In recent years, Huanghua Port has been committed to sci-tech innovation and building a green and intelligent port. By successfully developing an automated operation and equipment coordination system for coal ports, the Company achieved a 10% improvement in reclaiming and loading efficiency, making the energy hub port more efficient and intelligent.

Since the beginning of 2025, Huanghua Port has strengthened its integrated collaborative relationships with sales, railway, and shipping units by establishing precise coal preparation mechanisms and coordination mechanisms for road and port maintenance, which has optimized resource allocation and increased turnaround efficiency. The Company has also deepened cooperation with local maritime bureau and meteorological bureau to enhance the functionality of its intelligent weather service platform, establishing a three-level wind speed warning system, which has successfully addressed ten instances of strong wind conditions, ensuring safe and stable port operations. Focusing on improving internal coordination efficiency, the Company has utilized dual waiting anchor areas (“front harbor + harbor basin”) to provide temporary anchorage services for incoming vessels, precisely coordinating relocation operations at cargo berths to accelerate ship turnover. In addition, the Company has coordinated production organization and equipment maintenance, planned annual maintenance schedules with science-based approaches, and enhanced the synergy between equipment repairs and production & organization, thus laying a solid foundation for safe and smooth operations at the energy transportation hub.
