As of January 6, Baotou Chemical has witnessed a continuous increase in the export of its polyolefin products, with cumulative sales reaching 240,000 tonnes. In 2024 alone, seven brands of polyolefin products, including DFDA-7042, L5E89, L5D98, L5E89H, S2040, V30G, and Z30S, have been successfully exported, with export volumes increasing by 9,100 tonnes year on year, marking a historic breakthrough.
To meet the demands of international customers, Baotou Chemical, with improving the product qualification rate as its goal, focuses on the production of high-quality products to take the lead in strengthening brand recognition by enhancing product quality, optimizing production processes, improving product performance, and increasing the development and production of new products. Meanwhile, the Company has made great progress in enhancing production organization and management, optimizing the production scheduling of polyolefin products, arranging the production transitions of product grades, and striving to reduce the amount of polyolefin powder.
Furthermore, following the production and management principle of “prioritizing service”, the Company has compiled user manuals and product brochures, incorporating 42 types of polyolefin products with clear product characteristics and applications, which helps customers better understand the Company’s polyolefin product information, strengthening the external communications. In addition, Baotou Chemical has carried out the work on product certification and completed FDA, RoHS, and national standard method certifications for its L5E89-1 grade polypropylene resin product, with product quality meeting SGS testing standards and the requirements for food-grade packaging materials, attaining Chinese accreditation and global qualification of mutual recognition, thus further expanding the market sales scope of polyolefin products.
