As of May 22, Zhunneng Group has achieved an annual cumulative production of 25.142 million tonnes of commercial coal, marking a 2.21% year-on-year increase and setting a new record for the same period, which underscores its commitment to ensuring a stable energy supply.
Since the beginning of 2024, Zhunneng Group has fully implemented CHN Energy’s "136" development strategy and the "41663" overall work guidelines with emphases on such aspects as stripping, mining, washing, loading, transportation, and maintenance. By continually refining emergency response plans for extreme weather and taking proactive measures, Zhunneng Group has firmly upheld the safety baseline for energy supply. Production organization and management have been enhanced for the two open-pit coal mines with continuously improved mining plans and scientific planning throughout the processes of stripping, mining, transportation, and discharging. Close communication among management of all levels and seamless coordination of production stages have ensured stable, efficient, and safe raw coal production. The coal preparation plants have optimized coal blending and washing schemes and actively coordinated with railways to ensure quick and efficient loading and unloading of trains, thus improving loading efficiency. The equipment maintenance center has strengthened equipment repair efforts to reduce failure rates. Dedicated maintenance teams for key coal loading equipment have been assigned to maximize operational availability, significantly facilitating the steady supply of energy.
