As of June 7, Baoshen Railway’s cumulative freight volume for the year reached 140.269 million tonnes, actively contributing to ensuring energy supply with transportation services.
Since the beginning of 2024, Baoshen Railway has actively implemented CHN Energy’s “136” development strategy and “41663” overall work guidelines, making substantial efforts to fulfill transportation tasks to ensure energy supply. In response to the increasing demand for transportation, the company has effectively utilized the dispatch command auxiliary decision-making system to monitor the coal demand and transportation capacity of nearby factories and mines in real time, which has enabled timely adjustments to transportation organization plans and optimized traffic flow organization, ensuring the efficient and smooth transport of coal. By leveraging the advantages of CHN Energy’s railway network and resource allocation, Baoshen Railway has opened a new transportation route at Jinquan North Station. By taking advantage of policies including “replacing truck transportation by train and ship transportation” and “promoting container transportation for bulk cargo”, the company has provided more convenient and efficient transportation services to factories and mines along the route. Additionally, Baoshen Railway has strengthened communication and coordination with local governments and upstream and downstream enterprises to ensure unimpeded coal transport channels, thereby providing a solid guarantee for stabilizing the energy market. In terms of safety guarantee, Baoshen Railway adheres to the principle of “prioritizing safety with focus on prevention and comprehensive management”. The company has established robust safety management measures for train operations, developing precise maintenance plans based on the seasonal characteristics of equipment, and strictly implementing operational standards to ensure the good condition of facilities and equipment. Moreover, the company has intensified inspections and rectifications of key sections prone to flooding and strengthened preparations for flood emergency responses to ensure a swift and effective reaction in emergencies, laying a solid foundation for safe, stable, and orderly transportation and production.
