Railway Equipment Company Fulfilled Production Task of the First Quarter of 2024 Ahead of Schedule

As of March 27, 55,921 self-owned vehicles were cumulatively supplied. 7,819 vehicles have undergone maintenance, accounting for 29.82% of the annual target. Railway transport volume of self-owned vehicles totaled 94.08 million tonnes, accounting for 25% of the annual target, marking “a good start” in production and operation of the first quarter of 2024 four days ahead of schedule, and vigorously contributing to integrated operation of CHN Energy covering operation safety, stable production and energy supply.

Since 2024, Railway Equipment Company has made solid efforts to ensure heat and energy supply during winter peak period, escort work safety on freezing cold, rainy and snowy days, and finished all-round work with practical action. Based on advance planning, systematic organization, overall arrangement and implementation, Railway Equipment Company constantly stepped up safety management in key aspects, such as equipment transfer and operation, centralized maintenance, site safety management and personal operation safety. In terms of emergency response and risk pre-control, Railway Equipment Company strictly implemented emergency duty, surveillance patrol and inspection for fire prevention, anti-theft, anti-slip and anti-freeze arrangements, ensuring production, operation, emergency response with strict discipline, explicit responsibility of work, and effective measures. In terms of safe, efficient, stable and orderly operation under integrated operation, Railway Equipment Company adopted intelligent and digital management means, and paid close attention to severe weather warning information and forecast on the basis of emergency support measures. Setting up a rapid emergency response team, and allocating adequate supporting materials, equipment and personnel, Railway Equipment Company strengthened quality control of vehicle maintenance and operation, monitored typical faults of self-owned vehicles, and intensified inspections for train braking sensor valves, effectively contributing to the operation safety of 10,000-tonne and 20,000-tonne trains.
