Baoshen Railway Shenshuo Company’s Annual Freight Volume Exceeds 15 Million Tonnes

As of January 18, the annual freight volume of Baoshen Railway Shenshuo Company has reached 15.072 million tonnes, exceeding the 15 million tonnes milestone, demonstrating sustained vitality in ensuring stable energy supply.

Since the beginning of this year, Shenshuo Company has been taking early actions and implementing a collaborative approach from top to bottom. It has focused on precise traffic control, scientifically optimized construction organization, and ensured the loading and unloading operation in full capacity. By combining the actual capacity of loading stations under management, it has fine-tuned the loading organization plans station by station, line by line, and point by point. This approach allows the Company to monitor the loading progress in real-time, issue timely arriving warnings of loaded trains, alleviate station congestion, and ensure the efficiency and smoothness of transportation. The Company has actively coordinated with the dispatching center on the planning of empty and loaded train schedules, proactively communicated with major loading stations, fully utilized the loading capacity of each station, and directed the inflow of traffic to the line. The Company has continuously strengthened key aspects such as seamless coordination in loading organization, unlocking transportation capacity potential, and coordinating at boundary points. With a focus on routes for heavy-haul trains, it has leveraged the joined advantages of multiple fields and promoted integrated production and operation, providing a reliable transportation organizational guarantee for increasing production and output.

At the same time, the Company has taken preventive measures in response to temperature changes according to equipment characteristics. It has conducted sound anti-freezing management for each loading stations, closely monitored anti-freezing fluid and powder spraying, expedited trailer dumping and pulling to prevent train freezing. Rigorous inspections have been conducted on driving equipment under management, with a particular focus on tunnel de-icing operations, ensuring the safe and stable operation of equipment. Issues discovered are promptly reported for immediate resolution to eliminate safety hazards. In response to the dropping outdoor temperatures, emergency on-duty work has been intensified. Efforts have been made to increase surveillance on daily inspections of power supply, track maintenance, and electrical equipment, and strengthen communication systems for outdoor workers to ensure their personal safety. Rigorous inspections and maintenance on critical areas and equipment have been carried out to guarantee the safety and smoothness of railway transportation, laying a solid foundation for a successful start to the first month of the year.
