As of August 18, Huanghua Port had completed non-coal cargo throughput of more than 100 million tonnes, including more than 48.48 million tonnes of oil products and nearly 51.54 million tonnes of bulk cargo, providing a strong guarantee for the steady progress of China Energy’s “big logistics” strategy.
Since it set up a logistics arm in 2021, Huanghua Port Company has given full play to its advantages as the “head” of China Energy’s “big logistics” integrated industrial chain and adopted the business strategy of strong internal management and external market expansion, with an aim to build a one-stop logistics system that integrates the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain and promote the construction of China Energy’s “double-pendulum” comprehensive transportation system. Taking professional operation as the starting point, the company works to advance the construction of a logistics internal control system, improve the market-oriented operation mechanism, and continuously promote rational, standardized construction of a market-oriented pricing mechanism and other internal systems. In addition, leveraging China Energy’s transportation networks, Huanghua Port taps deep into hinterland resources, and provides customers with comprehensive and efficient “one-stop” services. It has opened three domestic shipping routes, developed 14 clients, and expanded its logistics services to more than 90 kinds of goods, with non-coal cargo throughput steadily growing year-on-year. So far, its throughput volume has maintained a positive growth for seven consecutive months. Adhering to the concept of safe development, Huanghua Port has established a complete safety and environmental protection system by constantly optimizing on-site operation standards, carrying out in-depth special investigations and rectifications, and strengthening control from the source. As a result, its man-machine environmental safety management capability has comprehensively improved, and its safety defense line has been greatly solidified, effectively ensuring safe and efficient development of its logistics business.
