H248 freight train, loaded with 3,640 tons of thermal coal, departed from Tanggongta Station on August 16 for Helin Power Plant in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. It marked the official operation of freight trains whose cargoes used to be transported by road. The implementation of the project is of great significance to Xinshuo Railway’s efforts to build a comprehensive cargo freight provider which can deliver directly to power plants.
