China Shenhua’s Shendong Coal has received the Announcement on Association Standards of the China National Coal Association issued by the China National Coal Association. Six association standards led by Shendong Coal were officially released: Traceability Management Requirements for Measuring Equipment Used in Coal Mines, Testing Requirements for Connectable PVC Cable Hooks Used in Coal Mines, Requirements and Testing Methods for Gravure Marking of Rubber-Sheathed Flexible Cables Used in Coal Mines, Method for Determining Coal Content in Gear Oil of Equipment in Use in Coal Mines, Method for Determining the Concentration of High-Water-Based Hydraulic Fluid for Hydraulic Supports (Refractometric Method), and Specification for Archives Management of Coal Mine Informatization Construction Projects.
The traceability standard for measuring equipment establishes an implementable traceability system, filling the domestic gap in traceability management for measuring equipment specifically used in coal mines. The standard for determining coal content in gear oil sets out qualitative and quantitative methods, filling the technical gap in testing in this field and carrying significant value for evaluating coal dust contamination, predicting oil failure, and guiding oil change intervals. The archives management standard for informatization projects clarifies full life-cycle archive management and electronic records requirements, filling the gap in dedicated archive specifications for coal mine informatization projects. The refractometric method standard for high-water-based hydraulic fluid concentration is the first dedicated standard in this field, innovatively proposing a “basic + temperature-controlled” model selection scheme and a four-point mixed sampling method, resolving issues such as inconsistent testing and non-comparable data. The testing standard for connectable PVC cable hooks unifies model specifications, technical requirements, and test methods. The gravure marking standard for rubber-sheathed flexible cables has been verified by Shendong Coal and is ready for industry-wide promotion.
Standards lead development, and quality shapes the future. From the “baseline” of metrological traceability to the “measurement standard” of testing methods and the “full chain” of archives management, the simultaneous release of these six association standards is both a clear testament to Shendong Coal’s long-term technical accumulation in coal mine testing and standardization and a vivid demonstration of how standards can safeguard the safe, smart and green transformantion of the coal sector.
