Recently, China’s first national standard in the field of mine big data, compiled mainly by Shendong Coal, Information Technology-Big Data in Mining-Technical Requirements (GB/T 46010-2025), was officially released, signifying a new phase of standardized development in China’s mine big data field.
As an industry-leading enterprise, Shendong Coal collaborated with 39 industry research institutes and major enterprises to establish a dedicated team for standard compilation. The standard was finalized after multiple rounds of research & discussion, experimental testing, and public consultation.
The Information Technology-Big Data in Mining-Technical Requirements (hereinafter referred to as “the Requirements”) systematically establishes the technical framework for mine big data for the first time, focusing on core elements including mine data sources, mine big data platforms, mine data application, data governance, and data security that apply to the development, management, and application of big data in coal, metal, and non-metal mines. The official release of the Requirements will help resolve the industry’s long-standing “data isolation” problems, promoting standardized data collection, efficient integrated sharing, accurate intelligent analysis, and deep integrated utilization, providing essential technical support for accelerating digital transformation and intelligent upgrading in the mining industry, and playing a vital role in improving China’s overall mining technology and enhancing global competitiveness.
