On February 17, the list of winners for the Science and Technology Progress Award of the China Institute of Navigation were officially unveiled. The Huanghua Port’s project “Research, Development and Application of Key Technology for Intelligent Control of Coal Operation at Huanghua Port of CHN Energy” won the first prize.
The project has fully implemented application engineering construction for intelligent control key technology of coal loading and unloading operations in the port, introducing a whole-process intelligent solution of single-unit automation, collaborative intelligence, and intelligent decision-making. The project team developed CE-TOS1.0, the intelligent production and operation system of the coal terminal, which has successfully broken the bottleneck of automated ship loading technology in all scenarios, working conditions, and machine models to realize the comprehensive automation of the dumping, stacking, reclaiming and loading process, solving the technical challenge of collaborative operation throughout the whole process.
Huanghua Port has prioritized the development of intelligent production and operation of bulk cargo ports, and constantly upgraded and iterated its technology. In this context, the Company has developed CE-TOS2.0, an independent and controllable intelligent production & operation system for coal terminals, aiming to establish itself as a cradle of original technology for smart ports. By leveraging independent and controllable technology stacks, the CE-TOS2.0 system takes “smart chain” as the core brand concept, covering four layers: the decision-making layer (intelligent scheduling and dispatching expert for coal transportation), collaboration layer (intelligent collaboration and control expert for coal transportation), equipment layer (intelligent single-machine control expert for coal transportation), and industrial control layer (intelligent industrial control expert for coal transportation), fully covering key processes in bulk cargo ports, achieving seamless connectivity of planning, scheduling, and equipment operation. Currently, the systems of equipment layer and collaboration layer have achieved full equipment coverage and have been widely implemented in power plant process scenarios. In addition, the systems of decision-making layer and industrial control layer have also made progress and are being implemented steadily according to the plan.
