Recently, Xinshuo Railway completed the intelligence upgrade of its track inspection vehicle, further enhancing the operational safety of track maintenance vehicles and providing robust safety assurance for railway transportation.
Often referred to as the “train doctor”, the track inspection vehicle is crucial for detecting track geometry and smoothness, evaluating track maintenance standards, and assessing the quality of repair work, so as to reflect the status of the track, which is essential for ensuring safe train operations. To further improve the efficiency of track equipment maintenance, ensure train operation safety, and better meet the needs of smart railway construction, this upgrade incorporated advanced signal detection and communication detection systems. Additionally, the existing track detection, track condition inspection, and clearance detection systems also underwent comprehensive intelligence upgrades. The newly added signal detection system boasts the highest sensitivity in the industry and a broader coverage area, allowing for real-time monitoring of various signal changes on the tracks. The communication detection system enhances the stability and reliability of data transmission, ensuring the real-time accuracy of detection data. The track detection system has been upgraded from mechanical wire displacement sensors to laser frame structure sensors, improving detection precision and interference resistance. The upgraded track inspection system now demonstrates a defect detection rate of 92%, and the clearance detection system has reached a detection rate of 99%, greatly improving the efficiency and accuracy of inspection, and providing crucial data support and technical backing for the Company’s safety production efforts.
