On May 23, Shendong Coal's Halagou Coal Mine installed an intelligent stall interception and warning system on the 31-coal ramp, significantly enhancing vehicle safety.

Featuring a sensitive speed detection function, the stall interception and warning system begins monitoring the vehicle's speed when it approaches within 60 meters of the device. If the speed exceeds 30 kilometers per hour, the system immediately issues a voice warning to alert the driver to slow down. If the driver fails to reduce speed and reaches 45 kilometers per hour, a net at the top of the device will instantly drop. When the vehicle collides with the net, it will pull out a steel cable from the energy absorber. The cable will tighten progressively, ultimately bringing the vehicle to a complete stop after pulling approximately 50 meters of the cable. This design provides effective cushioning, significantly reducing the risk of accidents.

Dai Ying, the head of the mine's intelligent operation and maintenance team, noted, "Equipped with data uploading capabilities, the device enables the operation and maintenance team to transmit relevant data to the surface in real time, and the staff to monitor the device's status and the speed of passing vehicles continuously. The system not only helps identify and resolve potential issues promptly but also provides scientific support for coal mine safety management."
