Recently, a conference was held in Beijing to release a summary report on major progress in intelligent coal mining in 2022, unveil 12 key achievements in construction of intelligent coal mines, and commend 15 teams and 52 individuals who made outstanding achievements in intelligent coal mining last year. Shendong Coal was awarded seven honors. Its thin coal seam unmanned intelligent mining technology demonstration project was named a project with significant progress, its deputy general manager was cited as an outstanding expert and four employees as outstanding workers, and the college-educated intelligent mining team at the Halagou Mine was cited as an outstanding team.
In 2022, Shendong earnestly implemented the decisions and deployments of China Energy. Upholding the “safe, efficient, green, low-carbon and intelligent” development philosophy, it vigorously pushes forward construction of intelligent coal mines. Focusing on the “0587” development guideline and the “eight 100%” goals, it continues to strengthen research of core technologies, especially intelligent mining technologies. Moreover, the company carries out the R&D of auxiliary operation robots and explores coal mining technologies with less manpower. With higher aims and stronger and more tangible measures, it strives to advance construction of intelligent coal mines to enhance the sustainable development of the coal industry. It sticks to a path of integrated development of digital economy and energy economy, providing Shendong experience and making greater contributions to high-quality development of the coal industry.
Since its inception in 2020, the conference on major progress in intelligent coal mining has been held twice. This year’s event was sponsored by the Intelligent Coal Mining Innovation Alliance, Journal of Intelligent Mine and Coal Science and Technology, and organized by China Coal Technology & Engineering Group Co., Ltd.
