Huanghua Port began to use the super category 6 cable for its surveillance system on March 15, which has secured smooth running of its video system to meet production demands.
After the company’s remote control system was put into use, the role of video surveillance is becoming increasingly important. Super category 6 cable, also known as augmented category 6 cable, features better performance in preventing crosstalk and longer transmission distance. It is capable of transmitting signal as far as 100 meters. The cable standard specifies performance of up to 500 HMz, doubles the bandwidth of category 6, and supports gigabit internet access. It is also compatible with category 6 and super category 5 cables. The use of the super category 6 cable drastically reduces malfunction rates and ensures smooth operation of video devices, providing reliable platform for remote operation and efficient production.
