Recently, Shendong Coal’s first self-developed 3×1.6MW scraper conveyor, customer-designed for ultra-long working face, was officially put into operation at the 31416 longwall face (with a length of 444.15 meters) in Jinjie Coal Mine, injecting new momentum for efficient mining operations.
This equipments integrated13 new technologies. By optimizing the open-angle design, it effectively reduces the operating resistance of the scraper chain and improves coal discharge efficiency, preventing blockages and jams at the source. In terms of intelligence, it establishes a multi-dimensional real-time monitoring system to track key parameters in real time, including chain status, large coal block impacts, and dumbbell pin conditions. The supporting intelligent control system enables automatic speed adjustment based on real-time operating currency analysis, providing precise support for shearer speed increase, and promoting coordinated and efficient operation of the complete set of working face equipment.
Shendong Coal has developed two scraper conveyor models, namely 3×1.6MW and 3×2MW, for working faces of 400-450 meters and 450-500 meters, respectively. The successful deployment of the first unit will provide valuable practical experience for equipment selection, technological iteration, and process optimization for about 13 subsequent ultra-long longwall faces at Shendong Coal.
