As of April 30, Huanghua Port completed a total of 19.294 million tonnes of coal dumping and 18.976 million tonnes of coal loading in a month, representing a year-on-year increase of 6% and 5.7% respectively, both setting new historical records in the same period. Notably, on April 6, the Port achieved a record daily dumping volume of 172.2 trains, injecting strong impetus into stable energy supplies.

Throughout April, Huanghua Port focused on its core responsibilities and business, strengthening its mission to ensure stable energy supplies, deepening quality and efficiency improvements. Sticking to CHN Energy’s “high-level integrated operation” strategy by closely collaborating with e-commerce, trade, and railway units to fully implement the coal preparation mechanism and railway-port operation coordination mechanism, the Port achieved seamless coal resource connectivity from mining areas to the port. In addition, the Port’s coal turnover efficiency increased by 10.3%, with the contribution rate of integrated outbound shipments reaching 62.4%, up 2 percentage points from 2024, effectively supporting the high-level operation during the annual overhaul of the Datong- Qinhuangdao Line.

In terms of navigation guarantee, Huanghua Port innovatively built a “land-sea-air” three-dimensional coordination system, working efficiently with the Cangzhou Maritime Safety Administration to organize 44 bi-directional voyages for 70,000-tonne ships across 258 trips. The Port also maximized the utilization of its “dual waiting anchor areas”, temporarily anchoring 73 ships, saving over 300 hours of waiting time for 200 incoming vessels and significantly improving navigation efficiency. During the closure of navigation due to high winds lasting 37 hours from April 11, the Port accurately predicted operational gaps through its smart meteorological platform, keeping stock levels within safety thresholds, maintaining full safety margins for the integrated transportation system, and ensuring stable and secure port operations. In internal management, under the goal of “zero defects in equipment and zero gaps in processes”, the Port has continued to deepen internal dispatching management, strengthen equipment patrol inspection and improve operation efficiency, with equipment integrity rate reaching 99.82% in April and vessel berthing duration reduced by 8.8% compared to the first quarter. Daily outbound coal shipments remained stable at 690,000 tonnes in late April, further enhancing port operation efficiency and providing a solid foundation for the smooth transportation network.
