Recently, CHN Energy’s first switch machine testing base was completed and put into operation in Shenshuo Company of Baoshen Railway after two months of construction, marking a new progress in intelligent transformation and the enhancement of safety production level.
In building CHN Energy’s first switch machine testing base, Shenshuo Company followed the principle of replacing manual operation with intelligent operation and substituting experience-based procedures with standardized procedures, with a focus on modernizing processes, optimizing operations, implementing intelligent management, and enhancing storage visibility. Substantial investments were made in base site selection, equipment procurement, and talent cultivation, leading to the establishment of a 1,000-square-meter testing base that includes areas for casing spraying, switch machine assembly, maintenance testing, ledger management, and finished material storage. By introducing advanced equipment including laser marking machines, high-frequency vulcanizing machines, automatic grease separators, and robotic delivery carts, the efficiency in component labeling, casing paint removal, cleaning, drying, and parts delivery has been improved. Furthermore, the assembly and testing time for each switch machine has been reduced from 38.5 hours to 17.5 hours, effectively saving time and labor costs as well as improving operational efficiency.
