As of May 5, the annual cumulative freight volume of Baoshen Railway Shenshuo Company had reached 100.008 million tonnes, surpassing the 100-million-tonne mark eight days earlier than last year, indicating the company’s sustained efforts in ensuring energy supply.
Since 2024, Shenshuo Company has actively practiced development strategies of the CHN Energy and adopted targeted policies to stabilize the energy supply. It closely monitored the operational order of heavy haul trains, promptly adjusted the loading structures and accelerated the turnover of trains, aiming to ensure both smooth construction and normal transportation. The company also comprehensively investigated and confirmed the workload of concentrated repairs, perfectly matched gap periods in concentrated repairs with the construction tasks, and optimized the schedule of train arrivals and departures in construction zones, aiming to maximize the operational capacity and throughput. The company dynamically managed the transportation demands and coal source storage, promptly coordinated to address transportation difficulties, paid close attention to fluctuations in coal transportation needs, and followed up the process to optimize the transport organization at key stations, with the intention of maximizing the efficiency of 10,000-tonne marshaling mode. In addition, it rigorously implemented a responsibility chain for externally purchased coal, actively expanded resource channels, and regularly investigated surrounding coal mines, coal yards, and coal platforms for in-depth surveys. It strived to accurately record production capacity of mines and storage capability of the platforms, ensured accurate resources reporting and continued to forge stable purchasing-sales connections. Meanwhile, the company focused on key links such as overload and leaning load, as well as vehicle door reinforcement. It endeavored to shorten detention time in transit, and pursued to realize daily plans, striving for full schedule operation. Furthermore, the company refined the process of cargo loading operations, strengthened maintenance and inspection of train equipment, monitored the coal dust governance, and the spraying of dust suppressant, etc. These measures are anticipated to effectively improve transportation efficiency. Holding an “ever-present sense of responsibility”, the company improved anti-skid braking measures for parked trains in stations, and employed specialized rectification measures to key equipment, essential operations, and serious latent risks, so as to ensure elaborate maintenance featuring meticulous planning, systematic organization, clear standards, tailored measures, accountability, and rigorous evaluation for acceptance, contributing to improvement of the operational quality of equipment, as well as the high-quality development of the company.
