Recently, the inauguration ceremony of the research center for heavy-haul railway intelligent operation and maintenance technology and railway engineering of China Energy Railway Equipment Co., Ltd. (CERE) and the signing ceremony for the cooperation agreement on the construction of heavy-haul railway operation and maintenance data industrial chain were held in Beijing.
CERE attaches great importance to the development of the transport industry. By giving full play to its integrated operation strength, accelerating construction of an intelligent transport system, and delving into fields like “state-based repair”, heavy-haul railway intelligent equipment R&D, and digital transformation, the company spearheads the high-quality development of intelligent heavy-haul railways. The research center, approved by the National Railway Administration of China, is a scientific and technological innovation base featuring in-depth integration of industry, education and research, with CERE as the key innovator and Beijing Jiaotong University, Southwest Jiaotong University and CRRC Qiqihar Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. as partners. Leveraging China Energy’s strength in integrated operations of production, transportation and sales, the center joins hands with partners to carry out technological innovation centered around intelligent operation and maintenance of heavy-haul railways to contribute to integrated operation and smart transportation, helping China Energy provide solutions and momentum to strengthen China’s transportation strength.
