As of August 10, Xinshuo Railway’s annual shipment of externally purchased coal has reached 4.001 million tonnes, an increase of 712,000 tonnes over the same period last year, demonstrating continuous and robust momentum for energy supply.
Since the beginning of 2024, Xinshuo Railway has adhered to the marketing philosophy of “Apt Arrangement for Every Tonne of Coal and Every Train”. With a market-oriented approach focusing on customer satisfaction, the railway has continuously improved its operation and management system, optimized quality control measures, and enhanced risk management for external coal. Efforts have been made to refine the reputation of external coal services, and solidify and expand brand influence and competitiveness. The railway has standardized supplier entry procedures, conducted in-depth investigations of suppliers’ transportation capabilities and the production capacity of partner mines, as well as fostering high-quality suppliers to ensure consistent shipments. Business personnel have been trained in both theory and practice to ensure adherence to CHN Energy’s regulations on the sampling and testing of externally purchased coal, preventing gross discrepancies in coal quality and calorific value. By analyzing daily resource briefings to identify reasons for the reduction of coal deposit of suppliers, and conducting thorough on-site research before new stations are brought online, Xinshuo Railway has strived to explore new coal varieties and shipment channels. The company has implemented backward scheduling for annual plans, closely monitoring the completion of suppliers’ daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Through the issuance of progress notifications, suppliers are urged to meet targets. The company has also ramped up marketing efforts continuously, contributing to the growth of transportation volumes and revenue of CHN Energy.
