The Intermodal Asia 2021 was held in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center in Shanghai recently. The smart intermodal project by China Shenhua’s Railway Equipment Company was showcased at the event.
Centering on smart logistics platform, the company set up a 120-square-meter pavilion showcasing its exploration and achievements in emerging sectors including smart logistics and intermodal transport. The display focused on domestic circulation, dual circulation, stable industrial and supply chains, and intermodal freight transport to exhibit the achievement of the national intermodal demonstration project, which has played a leading role in the industry.
Joining hands with online freight service providers, the company established a big data platform for smart logistics based on its strengths in road freight resources and research capability for big data. The platform is capable of matching vehicles and freight sources in a smart and real time manner.
