Tianjin Port and Tianjin Research Institute for Water Transport Engineering under the Ministry of Transport have jointly inaugurated a PhD innovation workshop and a key laboratory for environmental protection in the transportation industry.
At the inauguration ceremony, the two sides exchanged views on cooperation involving around the national outline for building China’s strength in transportation and the agreement of the two sides on implementing the outline. A priority of the agreement is to carry out pilot programs for the drive. It also represents a concrete step the company takes in accelerating the pace of going green and smart, making the PhD innovation workshop a reality, and building the key laboratory for the transportation industry. The two sides agreed that they will give full play to their respective strengths in application scenarios, technologies and talents to comprehensively improve the standard on building a green and smart port.
