Recently, the Innovation Workshop of Heidaigou Opencut Coal Mine under Zhunge’er Energy Group independently designed and upgraded the mining slot machine, which filled domestic technical gap in trenching and burying cables on the rock pavement of open-pit mines. Up to now, this type of slot machine has dug more than 9000 meters in all operations of Heidaigou Open-pit Coal Mine.
Cables crossing the roads in the pit of Heidaigou Opencut Coal Mine are mainly placed through cable bridges and ground bridges. Trucks are prone to clashes when passing through cable bridges, thus causing potential safety hazards. During operation, the pit position of open-pit coal mine changes rapidly, so it is necessary to constantly move cable bridges and ground bridges according to production situations. The cable bridges are moved about 150 times and the ground bridges about 1,000 times every year. Usually the job is conducted manually with the help of cranes and wreckers, which takes a long time and lowers production efficiency. Frequent movement is also prone to deformation and damage to the cable bridges.
To cope with the problem, Heidaigou Opencut Coal Mine organized a research team based on the technical innovation workshop of its power supply arm to analyze the problem and make technical upgrading on the layout of cutters of the slot machine. The research team invented the “seamless cutter laying method”, which won a national invention patent, and finally tailor-made a mining slot machine that meets the needs of the coal mine.
