The China Association for Public Companies recently released the A-share Listed Companies Cash Dividend List, including two lists, namely "Listed Companies with Generous Returns" and "Listed Companies with Sincere Returns". The two was finalized after strict evaluation and selection process. China Shenhua ranked the 5th and the 47th respectively.
The selection set the integrity and compliance of the securities market, finance and other indicators as preconditions and adopted the negative list and veto mechanism. The "List of Listed Companies with Generous Returns" values the total amount of cash dividends in the past year and the past three years, while the "List of Listed Companies with Sincere Returns" weighs the payout ratio in the past year and the past three years. 3170 A-share listed companies were ranked. Among them, 200 companies were selected into the two lists, of which only 40 companies were selected into both lists.
The improvement in the willingness to distribute cash dividends, the amount of dividends and the stability of dividend payout demonstrates that the capabilities of listed companies in creating value and distributing value are further enhanced. It is also an active response to the Central Financial and Economic Commission's call on "promoting common prosperity in high-quality development", and an important channel for investors to share the benefits of economic growth. The listed companies controlled by central state-owned enterprises on the list have been entered into the positive integrity list of the China Securities Regulatory Commission's capital market integrity archives.
